Reviews
What will you go through, to survive, to make yourself whole again? That's the core premise of the Russian made, predominantly psychological horror, "The Healing". Its an interesting concept but it becomes somewhat lost, in a few too many twists and turns, that over populate, this film. A simpler, cleaner script, would have worked considerably better. That's not to say there aren't positives in this production. Its well acted, with decent cinematography and the story is interesting, in spite of its limitations. In summary, "The Healing" takes the notion of healing the body and soul, to the next level. Its a decent idea, that would have worked better with a more straightforward, less cluttered approach. Nonetheless, worth a look, if you like psychological horror.
