Aussie classic in the making. A charming Australian film filled with breathtaking nature, uplifting music and engaging drama. A must see for anyone who wants to see the glorious Australian bushland as this movie really has some wonderful cinematography. The colours are amazing. I loved seeing the character development of Florence throughout the movie and her companion the little yellow canary was a real star with its sassy looks and glances. I really enjoyed watching the main character fight to survive against all society and all the odds that nature had to deliver. The filmmakers who made The Canary have done a wonderful job showcasing the Australian outback with both its harshness and beauty and the soundtrack tied in beautifully. Loved the costumes throughout as well.
