Reviews
Mild Wartime comedy as Parker’s intelligence boys come up with a scheme to trick the enemy by finding a double for dashing upper class officer Rix- a toilet cleaning clot (also Rix). Confusion reigns, but little mirth. Rix did a lot of these farces but was no near as adept or inventive as Norman Wisdom, who was the top UK attraction at the time.He had more success with his regular West End productions. As was typical at the time, the cast is littered with welcome comic character actors. Fraser is a nightclub singer; Phillips is his usual self in a cameo.
