Reviews
This is quite a reasonable effort with Reuben Marshall as a detective who is invited to a posh party whereupon he meets some riff-raff and soon blackmail and murder are the order of the evening with plenty of suspects. The plot isn't half bad, and though the characters are a tad flat, it moves along well for just over an hour with some decent one-liners around, too, and John Miljan, a hapless James Burtis and a bit of glamour from Irene Ware to keep the pot simmering, if not exactly boiling. Enjoyable....
